The Age of Aquarius

We are ushering in the Age of Aquarius. What does this mean and how does it affect our lives?

Just like we have hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly cycles in our lives, the sun has cycles it moves through, although they are much longer than our earthly cycles.

The sun’s cycles last for 2600 years as it moves through the 12 zodiac signs.
The sun entered a new cycle in 2001 as it moved from the Piscean age into the Aquarian age. Each cycle influences our planet and all of humanity in very unique ways.

The Piscean age helped humanity connect with its devotional nature. It helped societies create organizations and spiritual communities. It helped people gather and create communities and brought them together. It was a very important part of humanity’s evolutionary cycle. The symbol of the Piscean age was the fish.

In 2001, our Sun moved into another cycle which is the Aquarian cycle.

The Aquarian cycle is a different kind of energy. It’s a different kind of vibration that is radiating to our planet through the sun and influencing our planet. Many of us were born to usher in this new vibration.

With the Piscean energy exiting our planet and the Aquarian energy entering, an energetic tension currently exists on our planet. It can create conflict when it comes to ideas and ways to look at the future of our planet. It can also create chaos as the tensions intensify. It might feel to some like we’re in the midst of the wash cycle of a washing machine. Everything feels churned up and nothing feels settled.

Some are trying to hang onto or bring things back to what they consider normal, but we are moving into a ‘new normal’ and the only way to easily move through it is by letting go and allowing ourselves to be carried by the new energy of Aquarius.

To understand a bit about what the Aquarian cycle is bringing in, listen to a song entitled ‘The Age of Aquarius’ by a group called The Fifth Dimension. If we believe the words of the song, the Aquarian energy will usher in a time of peace, harmony, understanding, revelations, and love on our planet.

It may not look like the energy of Aquarius is having this kind of influence on our planet right now, but we need to remember it is just the start of its 2600 cycle and it is going to take a long time to see the results of the energy it is bringing. This is not going to happen in our lifetime but we can begin to align ourselves with the Aquarian vibration. There are many teachers helping us to do this.
